Hello,

I am Andrew Whyte

Born and raised in New Zealand I started painting in 1993 with my first exhibition the following year. Since then there have been a number of formal and informal exhibitions.

My paintings have sold in many places both inside and outside of New Zealand. I have won best landscape awards in national competitions including the Molly Morpeth Canaday art prize for the best landscape.

My art extends into photography which was born from my love of painting from my photos. I am keenly involved in competitions involving photography groups and we have a wonderful cove photographic studio here in Tauranga, New Zealand.

My Grandfather who is alive at 105 years old came from England, so I wish to spend some time in the UK, exhibit and paint in the areas where he lived. Thats on the short term plan.

Enjoy the exhibitions of my paintings and photographs. If we have similar minds then I also hope the tutorials on my website will inspire you.

You can link to all the available paintings gallery if you wish to puchase a painting.
For your interest some of the most popular archived paintings are in the sold gallery. Featuring paintings from my gallery exhibitions.
Have a sense of humour and enjoy your work. You can follow me and get updates on facebook

Best wishes
